This Day in Music Books are raising money for Stagehand with a collection of stories about life on the road for hard-working, fun loving, live music crew.

We’d love to give fans an insight into what it’s like to be on tour; big tour, small tour, the good, the bad and the ugly!* We would love to hear from you with the short stories you are happy to share about life on the road!

What’s your job on tour? What do you do in that role whilst on the road? Do you really wake up not knowing where you are? Can you even sleep on a tour bus or is it one long party?

Tell us about the time you didn’t fix a light on properly and it nearly landed on one of the dancers, or how you forgot to plug in the mic at rehearsal but the lead singer was really nice about it!

Most people have no idea what it’s like to be part of a live music tour, so each of your short stories will help fans gain an insight into what it might be like to be on tour, to be part of a crew that becomes like family, to work with famous people. We know you all have a book of stories to tell, but if you can share one or two for Stagehand that would be amazing. What’s it like to be on the road – where, when, how you got into this life and who you worked with, together with what you remember of working with them and seeing them live. Every memory, however slight, will help to paint a picture of life on the road. This book will be published later this year.

If you would like to be part of this book please send your story to us here at wemuso.com and if you can, please include your name the date (month and year at least, that the story relates to), city / country and artist that would be amazing. Please send your stories before the end of May and feel free to submit more than one!

*we’re not asking for names or gossip, nothing slanderous, just stories of life on the road.
